About This Chapter
The narrator tells us that he was at the memorial service for a man who had died in an organic conversion. He says that the man's name is Tanikaze, and that he threw up. The narrator says that he's sorry that he didn't recognize him at the service. He also says that people who have died in the process of conversion aren't really killed, but rather, they're just going to go through the process. He tells us to chill out. He's not going to kill anyone, he says, because he doesn't have the power to do anything about it. He asks the narrator to put up a "cutter whip" on the dead woman, but the narrator says he can't do anything to her, because she's already dead. Translation yet again: This is a festival, and it'
