Tanikaze's men are busy trying to figure out what to do about the danger posed by the approaching hawk moth. They're worried that the hawk moth is coming after them, but they can't figure out how to destroy it before it gets too close. They decide to open a high-speed projectile acceleration device and dump the sabot's serial into the capsule, but the capsule doesn't have the power to do so. They wonder if they'll be able to stop the ship before it collides with the rest of the fleet. They also wonder if any of the pilots have gotten a warning that the ship is approaching. They can hear a distress signal from the squad, but it's too late to save the ship.
