In this chapter, we learn that Luo was beaten by his grandfather, and that he was wearing clothes that covered up his injuries. We also learn that the manager at the comic shop said that he bled a lot. Luo tells us that he's not hurt, and asks if he can just pretend that he isn't hurt. He wants to see what his daughter's reaction would be if she were to cry. He tells her that she looks obedient, and he wants her to know that she can just say hello to her parents. He says that he has a feeling that she's seen her before, but he doesn't remember where or when. The next chapter is about to begin, and Luo wonders if he'll be able to regain his dignity after the three-month ban.
