In this chapter, the narrator tells us that he fell in love one day with Lu Mingyi, but that love turned out to be short-lived. His mother fell ill from shock when she found out that her father was having an affair with another woman. She packed up her things and left. The narrator asks Lu Ming Yi if he can keep his distance from her. Lu Ming asks if he has any troubles, and the narrator says that he will always be by his side. He also tells Lu MingYi that he doesn't use any perfume, and that he'll send him a link to a new brand of perfume tonight. He says that she's "shameful" for trying to target someone else's boyfriend, and he says that when he confessed to his father, he confessed that he liked Lu Ming. He adds that he likes Lu Ming because she is not very pretty, and says that they should isolate her and teach her a lesson. He wants to puke, but he can't find a place to go because of the rain. He asks if she wants her clothes, and she replies that she only comes to the rain on rainy days. He wonders if he should do something in the future, since school disgusts him. He has no place left to go, since his mother has left and he has nowhere else to go. Finally, he gets home and sees his mother's face. He's happy to see her again, and wants to share it with the rest of the group. He invites them to join his personal fan group, the "quan village" .
