In this chapter, Ching-Li and Ching-Teng discuss their love for one another and their desire to hold hands forever. Ching-Lin says that he wants to hold his hand forever, but he can't say it yet because he doesn't know what to do with himself now that he's in love with Ching-Ling. He asks if they've kissed, and they both agree that they did. They're both so excited that they're not sure what to say next. They tease each other about the fact that they are different from each other in their dark eye circles, and then they get back at each other by asking where their dad is, and why he hasn't come home yet. They finally decide to hold a monthly gift competition, where they'll choose the best gift for each of the month's participants. The prizes will be as follows: July 1st - choice of art, July 2nd - random art, and July 3rd - gift of art and gift of gift.
