Lin tells Huck that he's sorry that the guy is being so embarrassing. He's always liked the girl, and he feels relieved that she's grown up too. Huck tells him that university is coming up soon, and that maybe he'll find a better girl to fall in love with. Huck says that he won't give up on qiu, but he doesn't know if she'll get married. He says that if she does get married, his heart will still be the same. Huck realizes that qiu has been ruthless toward everyone since he was young, except for him. Huck is worried that ding will be deceived by bad guys in the future, so he tells ding that he can protect himself by being a good person. Huck also tells Huck about ding's plan to send Lin and the other students to school the next day.
