This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 47 THE DAY OF THE DECISIVE BATTLE
About This Chapter
In this short scene, Sikandar and his men discuss the preparations they have made for the upcoming battle with the Parsian army. Sikandara tells his men that he has brought them a weapon that he says will help them in the coming battle. The weapon is a "fang" that can even strike a rider off of a horse or an elephant. He says that he would like to use the weapon on parsians once they have taken back their positions. He also says that the battle will be a "decisive one" and that he will give the weapon to the elephants on the tenth day after the second month. The Parsians, he says, have never formally named him the crown prince, and yet they believe that they can best him by borrowing the power of his father's white elephant. The parsian troops are beginning to fall back against the enemy army.
