This is a locked chapterCHAPTER 3 THE KNIGHT IN BLACK
About This Chapter
The Parsian army has been looking for the king, but he has not been found. The king asks Aramis to go find him. Aramis says he will protect the king. The knight in black says that he is no longer the marzban, and that he has been beaten by a parsian. He says that if the king adds the stragglers, they still have enough troops to stand up against the lusitsian army. Aramises says that the king has fled, but that he did not hear anything about his re-treating. He asks why the king would abandon his troops and flee, and Aramis replies that he would not be sacrificed. He accuses the king of throwing away his helmet in anger, and he says that Aramis is being held captive by a kid. He tells Aramis that he betrayed the royal majesty by telling the king to retreat before the battle, so that he himself would be disgraced and would be stripped of his duties as the king had stripped Aramis of his title
