The next morning, the captain and his men are at work, and the smell of the stew is bothering them. The smell is so strong that it's hard to tell what's going on, so the captain asks the leader of the squad if he can smell anything. The leader says he can't, because the smell comes from all over the place. The captain wonders if the men are avoiding him, because they just walked out of the bathroom. He wonders if they're avoiding him because they've just come out of there, and asks the captain to switch places with him. When the captain doesn't answer, the leader asks if there's anything going on around him, and he says he's too worried about it. He offers to lend the captain some sleep aids, but the captain says he smells like "an old man" . He asks the men to give him some eye masks to help him sleep, and they do. He says he was worried about what the men were doing around him the night before, and now he smells "something in particular." The captain asks if the smell is coming from a sore throat, and when the leader says it is, he says it smells like a sore sinus. He's almost at the doctor's office, and says they have an urgent situation.
