Bixuan realizes that the man who fought him at the cottage is the same man whom he fought at the palace. He wants to know who this man is, and he begs to know what kind of person he is. He tells us that he hates his guts, and that if he falls into Hell, he'll be the one to push him. He says that he has to take care of the man if he ever falls into hell, because if he does, he will be the person who pushes him. If he dies, then he will have revenge on his hands, and if he lives, then his revenge will be on his own hands. If she had not stopped him, he says, he would have killed the man, and she would have been in much worse condition. He also tells us about the emperor, who tortured and humiliated his wife for seven years, until one day, he killed her child. He banned her from the cold palace, and then he ordered her to marry him, but she was in love with someone else. He despised her, he tells us.
