In this chapter, the newly-crowned king of China is introduced to the audience. He is introduced as the new king of the People's Republic of China, and he is also introduced to his brother, the new emperor of Shuguang. The two men discuss the situation in Shuguang, and Shuguang expresses his gratitude to the king for his help in resolving the crisis. Shuguang admits that he has left the place, but he says that it is out of his brother's request that he do so. He says that he did speak to his sister the other day, and she is doing well. He admits that if he had not spoken to her, he would not have been able to resolve the crisis easily. He also says that his father could have remained alive wrong, even if he were kept in the dark, and that he would have been living in "agony and hatred" . The king says that at least he did not do anything his father's birth child did before he died. He adds that the dead are part of history, and it is a good thing that he knows the true history of his father
