Back in the country, the Governess is overjoyed to see her husband back. She's so proud of him that she doesn't even want to praise him. She tells him to praise her with everything he's done for her. The Governess asks what they're going to do with the body now that they've found it. She says they'll just return it, wait until it's dark, and then turn themselves in. Uh-oh.
