The next morning, the gang goes to investigate the disappearance of Gao Ling's parents. The gang then goes to check on the scar left by the Thai boxing champion, and they learn that the man was a fighter who was too good for his superiors to get too comfortable. They also find out that the eldest daughter of the store owner had also died, and that she was rumored to have been killed in the city. They decide to break into the house and look for the missing couple, but they do not have the key to open the locked door.
