About This Chapter
In this chapter, Lin tells the gang that she doesn't have any other evidence to support her story. She's convinced that the bastard didn't commit the crime, but she's also convinced that he was lying and deceiving. The captain tells her that they need to dig three feet of ground in order to find the evidence. Lin tells them that her husband is a member of the criminal investigation squad, which means that he's a suspect in the crime. She also tells the captain that little wu is sleeping in the police station's on-duty bathroom. Lin says that she hasn't seen her husband for a long time, and that he must have been very difficult for him to deal with. Lin also tells them about her daughter, who was born a girl, and how she refused to go to school, even though her father wanted her to.
