Back at the academy, R.J. reads the file on his new boot. He's excited to see what kind of guy he's going to be when he gets out on the streets. He thinks that the guy in the boot looks like a redhead, but he can't figure out the name of the man in the hat. R. J. asks what's wrong with the hat, and the officer tells him that it's a "prototype" , which means that the officer thinks the guy looks like him. He says that he'll straighten it out, but first he wants to see how the guy handles himself in the real world. The officer says that the man looks like he belongs in the police academy, and that's why he'd be interested in seeing how he does on the street. He also says that when he was in the academy they had nicknames for each other, so he guesses that he looks like the officer with the red hair. He asks what the female officer at the station said about him, and she says that she thought he was not her type. He wants to go out and do some patrolling, but R.j. says he needs to get some sleep, and then he can do some more
