About This Chapter
It's clear that the perfume bottles have been tampered with, and the narrator suspects that it's Sihua and his father. He tells us that he's already gotten Sihua's address, and two of his colleagues are going to find Sihua within the next two days. Sihua tells the narrator that he misses him, and that he needs to "be more affectionate." Sihua says that Sihua told him that the way he is calling his father is too formal, and Sihua needs to be "more affectionate." The narrator says that he doesn't think this is a good idea, because the family will be paying more attention to the upcoming press conference. The narrator is worried that the press conference will be overshadowed by the upcoming one. He asks if the company is planning on inviting the guests later, and if so, why? Sihua replies that he is more experienced than the company's new coordinator, and he'll be able to handle the situation himself. He's sure that she'll need his help soon, and so he tells her to slap where she's not at work, and stay at the train station and not go anywhere.
