Haylee wakes up to find that her sister has eaten a rat-poisoned doughnut. She calls for an ambulance, but is told to wait outside while the doctor examines her sister. The doctor tells her that if she does not come in soon, there is no hope for her survival. The child's brother, Sohane, comes in and tells Haylee that there is a meeting in the afternoon. The meeting will focus on introducing the new product to the market.
