This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between Cai Ming-liang and Ren Zhengfei, two of the leaders of the People's Republic of China. Ren tells Cai that he is going to meet Ren at a place called the "xxx" , which means "the place where the sun sets." Cai tells Ren that if Ren does not accept Ren's challenge to a duel, he will expose the incident in the past between the two of them.
