The next morning, the new supervisor comes in and tells the group that he's decided to let Cai Ming-liang go because she's so good at her job. She's also going to be promoted to supervisor of the new product line, which means that she'll be responsible for all the new products that come out of Cai Ming's mouth. The group is all, "Whoa, what's up with that?" and Cai Ming chimes in that he doesn't know what to do. He's going to let her go, he says, because she was such a good manager before. Cai Ming says that's fine, he'll just let Susan take care of it.
