About This Chapter
In this chapter, the young men discuss the pros and cons of playing in the big leagues. The first is that they would get paid more money if they played with the big league team, and the second is that their friend, ge shui, would not be able to attend the game because of his upcoming internship. The third is that if they play with the minor league team they would not have much meaning in the game, since there is no money to be made. The fourth is that even if they lose, they would still come to the game with him. The young men agree that the game is worth it, but they still need to ask their friends and family for their opinion. They discuss the promotion of big peng from a part time worker to a manager of a store. They argue that the court is not as good as the outside world, because the young man's mother is sending him away to college. They decide to take their brothers out of the game so that they will not be judged for their plays.
