About This Chapter
The monk tells the ghost guards to listen to his order and take down the maniac. He tells them that he has the order of the ghost general and that they will not be accountable if they retreat now. He says that he didn't realize that he was able to control the guards. He wants them to come out and fight him. All the ghosts help him, he says. The key to his trick is in the channel between his consciousness and the thrall. He explains that if the guards forcibly cut off their connection with the threll, they might die. He warns them that if they do so, he will give them back ten times a hundred times. He adds that even if they kill him in the future, they will have no chance of killing him because he has already made himself an enemy.
