When he absorbed the power of the doll, his memories came to him whenever he absorbed power. This power came from the body of zhong, the doll's creator. He explains that the person who used the peach-blossom talisman on him created the evil spirit. The monster asks if the fog in the neighborhood is caused by something nasty, cursed, or just because it is a sunny day. He says that all of them will be eaten by the hungry ghost.
