The master of the wine curses the Master of the Wine-Sword, who is trying to escape. He tells the Master that he has come to investigate a mass grave, and that the statue of a mountain god is in the grave. The Master says that he will go back to investigate the statue and find out what the mandrill is doing there. He also says that the rumors about the statue are all fakes. He says that back then, he watched a forgotten mountain god transform into a mandrill. The mountain god was a god, he says, but the mountain god's form had been eroded by resentment. The master says that they are the ones to have found the statue, and he asks the Master to lend him a magical tool. He adds that the Master asked him to sleep with the Master for one night, and the Master wants him. He is curious about how the Master came to the wine-swords's, and says he was planning to buy wine, but that Master Wine-sword joined in the curse. He feels that the curse has caught the family of the psychics. The elders of the family are now on their way to see the Master.
