Back at the breakfast cafe, Miss An tries to convince her brother that they should go to the house of Mr. Meng, the wife of zhong. Miss An says that they have to go investigate because she is too scared to do so herself. The brother says that he did not pay Miss An for nothing, but that he is afraid that he will have to ask for a higher price as long as Mr. Mening is able to get his money back. He gives Miss An a check for 10,000 and gives her a box of lipsticks as compensation. The brothers decide to check out the area around the house. They decide that they will look for a map and check the number of the building. They also decide to look at the attic because it is cold in the house and they are not allowed in it anymore. They open the door and Miss An tells them to go in.
