The scene opens with a young man, Zhengzhou, asking for his friend, Ming, who has just returned from a night out. Zhengzhou asks Ming if he is okay with him, and Ming replies that he is. Ming tries to explain that he and Zhengzhou are just friends, and that he went to the bar to drink alone to find out what had happened, but he was not expecting that things would turn out the way they did. He asks Ming to promise him that he will listen to his explanation if they misunderstand each other in the future.
