In this chapter, we learn that we're still in love with Ming-ling, and that he's still mad at her. He's not angry with her, he just wants to be alone. He wants to live with her. If she refuses, he'll tell her mom that she's hiding a woman in her room, and he wants to know how she'll explain it to her mom. He doesn't want her to kick him out of the room, but he does want to see how she will respond to his questions about their relationship. He tells her that he hates women who are "unreasonable," and that if he had known she was that convincing, he would have kept his mouth shut. He says that he can't reveal their relationship to his mom, because she'd be mad at him if she found out, but they'll work it out.
