This chapter opens with Ren's description of his brother's "sad and deadly" art works. He's shocked and horrified by what he's seen. Ren tells us that he has been working on these designs since Ren returned to the family. He says that he initially planned to work with Ren as the subject of the works, but he put it off because he didn't have any inspiration. Ren says that the artists of the Song Family will be inspired by their hearts when they're touched, and that's how he came up with these designs. Ren compares the flower in the works to a seed that has been planted deep in his heart, and he says that this flower symbolizes what he means to his brother. This flower represents what Ren means to him, and it's also the hope that comes from this desperate situation. Ren wants to try the works for himself, and Ren says he'll do it. Ren explains that this new design is really from his brother, who's named it "xu tianze" . He explains that the old faction at the company lost money because of the Shao family's affairs, and so Ren helped out by making sure that his sister became a designer. Ren also explains that he doesn't treat his sister like a sister.
