About This Chapter
The next morning, Ren tells his sister-in-law that he's not satisfied with her cooperation with him. He's tired of shu bi too, and he doesn't want her to provoke trouble. He wants to know what Ren needs for breakfast, and she tells him that he needs it for his brother or for his sister. Ren tells her that he has not yet earned the trust of either of them, and that he wants to get it for himself. He asks Ren if he feels any evil intentions from him toward her, and Ren says that he is just curious and wants to ask what on earth is he doing. He tells Ren that he knows he has a talent for acting, and asks if he can tell him what he plans on doing. Ren reminds her that she blamed him for not teaching rong-rong well when she was a child. Ren explains that shu-bi was desperate to get into the family, so she suggested that Ren's father take responsibility for the upbringing of his daughter. The father didn't agree, and shu Bi began to secretly buy things for rongrong and convince her to skip school. Eventually, Ren abandoned her. Ren asks if she's regretting it now, if she hadn't told him about it.
