About This Chapter
The next morning, Cai Ming asks his brother if he's feeling well. Cai Ming says that he is, and that his father has agreed to let Cai Ming's sister-in-law, Cai Xie, into his ward. He also says that Cai Ming has told Cai Ming not to use his blood for treatment, and Cai Ming doesn't want Cai Ming to endure any pain until he dies. He's not sick, he says, and the doctor even says that donating blood is good for his health. The doctor says that it's a good idea to have regular blood transfusions to make sure that you don't run out of the blood types that you need. Aunt shu, meanwhile, asks Cai Ming why he didn't tell her about his illness. She says that shu Ming went straight to Cai Ming and tried to convince him to do the right thing. She also asks if Cai Ming wants to save his brother's life, or if he wants to put a wedge between the two of them? Cai Ming tells her that she is caring for her brother, who treats her very well. He tells her about the story of the family's desperate search for their daughter, and how Cai Ming asked him to fight first so that he wouldn't have to explain his anger. He says that no one would accept that they were "born to become a 'donor'" . He adds that if he hadn't been born with a "weak body," Cai Ming would have been "the perfect heir" to his brother. After discussing the matter, both parents decide to have a second child. Since Cai Ming is the perfect donor for Cai Ming, his parents decide that they should have another child
