The two vampire slayers tell Roxane that they are members of the "unseelie court" , a secret government branch that protects the supernatural from being corrupted by the "bloodlust" of humans. They tell her that they were responsible for driving izsak "all schizo" back to sanity, and that she is his salvation. She asks them not to be "obstinate" about the fact that she needs a blood donor, and they agree to give her theirs.
