"I don't know what's wrong with him" , the narrator tells us, "to be honest . . to be honest, i don1t really know why he1s up so late. He tells us that he came to see if the boy was feeling well. He says that he doesn1t want to admit that he was sick, but he does want to know what the boy1s friends were up to the night before. The narrator tells the boy that he and his friends went to see a movie, but that he didn1t go because he was late. The boy tells the narrator that he called him "cute" twice in the last five days, and the narrator says that it wasn1t a date, but it was a "date" to him. He adds that the last time he was with the boy, he was "ed" and that the girl1s feelings for him were "stupid char and stupid opinions" . He wonders how he got to be so optimistic. He thinks that the lady will turn away from him soon because she1s only attracted to him because she isn1t sure that he is the right man for her.
