It's been a while since we've heard from the band, but they're psyched to be back on the road and ready to rumble. They're bummed that they've been booked to play with a band called Mephisto, which is the brother band of Edgar's. Edgar ditched the band after they played a show together, and Edgar joined his brother's band instead. Edgar is psyched to see that things haven't changed, and he's even more psyched that Edgar hasn't ditched him yet. Edgar, meanwhile, is all, "what the fuck is going on?" He's got a blood disorder, which means that he can't play the piano anymore. He tells Edgar that he gave Edgar his guitar, which he says is a "stupid goddamned burn" , and that Edgar should pretend to be dead so Edgar can "avenge" him. Edgar says that's the only way to get hurt in life, and then he thanks Edgar for saving his life by giving him the guitar.
