In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters who have been introduced in the previous chapters. The first of these characters is Lucentio, who is now a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also a frequent visitor to the university's medical school, where he has been attending classes since the beginning of the school year. He has also been a frequent traveler to the hospital where he is being treated for his asthma, and he is also an active participant in the medical community. He also serves as a mentor to the other students at the medical school. The chapter ends with a discussion between the two students about the future of the university.
