In this chapter, we learn that the landlord of the old palace is now an angel named Chris Hill, who is on a mission to prepare the witches for the gathering of evil. He asks the landlord if he is listening to him, and the landlord replies that he is not. The landlord then introduces us to his new neighbors, the witches, and asks us to call him "hill" . He tells us that he has come to prepare for the witches' evil gathering, which has not been held in 200 years. The witches will choose a witch as a traitor, and then burn her to death.
