In this chapter, we learn that thunderbolt is still alive, and that his mother's attack on him would have killed him right away. He also tells us that he's made some food for the sick kids in the hospital. He asks what's wrong with the spirit world, and the answer is that it's turning into a problem. He's bleeding all over his baby, and he better heal the people around him first. The voices of the sick people are coming from the maternity ward, and they need more people to help them. They're not "blood relatives," he says, but they're "light" and "guiding light" . He promises to come back later, but he can't leave thunderbolt alone now, because he'll be back later. He tells us, however, that he has a secret from his past that he wants to share with kamo. It turns out that he loved thunderbolt so much that he wanted him back.
