In this short scene, Dr. Isamu delivers a powerful speech in which he explains that he is the only person who can give a new heart to a dying patient. He explains that the patient's family cannot hear him, and that he has chosen the patient as his future partner. He tells the patient that he does not want to leave his family, but that he must find a way to help him. He asks the patient to lend him his energy, and the patient does so. The patient says that he will only go back to his family when he has healed himself sufficiently, and he is ready to go.
