In the midst of a thunder storm, Dr. Rivers and Erik arrive at a school in the countryside. They are interrupted by the arrival of a boy named Nemo, who wants to sit in the school's class with them. When the boy asks to be introduced to the others in the class, Erik tells him to relax and enjoy the lesson with the others while he himself can. The boy, however, is not interested in the lesson, and when the teacher tries to introduce him to the other students, Erik slaps him for not showing up for the lesson.
