The gambler takes over as leader of the gang and establishes the rules, traditions and ultimate goal. He names the gang the Jack-Syndicate. The gambler searches for an apprentice to take his place as leader. He finds an apprentice in a 9 year old boy who was found near death on a job. The apprentice becomes the driver and terrorizes the gang scene with his malicious hit-men and expert smuggler tactics. Eventually, the apprentice will take the place of the chauffeur and become the "devil of Los Angeles" .
