The next morning, Li tells the others that he is still not satisfied with the teacher's explanation of the situation. He says that the teacher told him that she could only solve the problem of the backlash in him, and that she would only be able to do so if she could "solve the backlash" in him. The teacher, however, said that the problem was still unsolved and that her body needs to "be nurtured first" before it can be solved. Li says that he does not want to continue working for the teacher because he feels that she is not worthy of their trust anymore. He tells them that his family will not understand what he has to say. They will only care about whether he will continue to stay at the college. He explains that his parents and his brother rely on the college to provide the "sunset" they need. He does not wish to compromise his teacher anymore and tells her that he has been bothering her too much and that he will not compromise her anymore.
