The narrator asks why his father died. He says that he died when his body had suffered "devastating damage" and could not recover. The narrator says that his father is still by his side sometimes. He shows the narrator around a room on a light boat, where there are rooms for special guests. He tells the narrator that there is a bed in the room, but that people cannot enter because it is a "virtual game world" . He asks the narrator why he closed the door, and the narrator tells him that it is because they have kissed and hugged and that he is not prepared to leave. He leads the narrator to a little theater, where he tells the story of his son, who has a problem with awakening, but he still gets across other peoples laughter and learns to spin himself
