In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character named "Meihuan" . He is a young man who has just returned from a trip to Europe. He has come back to China to work on his master's farm in the countryside. He tells us that he is very happy to be back in China, and that he hopes to be able to spend more time with his master and his family. He says that he has not been able to express his love for his master because he is afraid that he does not have enough money to support himself. However, he is confident that he and his master can live happily ever after.
