Clop finally gets out of the carriage and tells Mihuan that his veil has gone. He's worried about what's going to happen to her now that she's gone. Mihuan tells him to go ahead and take a look at the people around him. He doesn't want to look at them, he wants to look ahead and see what they're thinking. He wants to know if anyone is mocking him or if he's being teased. He asks Mihuan to stay focused and not to worry about what other people think. He says that the more he tried to avoid other people's eyes, the more interested he was in how they turned out. He then asks if Mihuan is still feeling well. He tells her that he'll be taking care of her that night.
