The scene opens in the library, where Lin Xiumin is studying. He finds a bag dangling from the back of a book, and he apologizes for hurting Lin's feelings when he said that he saw the wrong person in the stream. Lin wants to take the bag back, but he can't because it's expensive. Lin tells him that he's sorry, but that he didn't do anything wrong with the photos. Lin asks if he did anything that actually hurt people, and Lin says that he doesn't care about the community anymore. He's learned to cut himself off from the community because he used to feel inferior, and now he wants to be happy in the real world.
