In this short scene, we get a brief glimpse of what's going down between the two of them. They need each others' help to create a utopia, and they need one another's help to do it. The only problem is that they don't have the same ability, which means that they can't both destroy the same thing at the same time. So they've got to get rid of each other ASAP, pronto.
