This chapter's epigraph comes from the author's letter to the editor, in which he says, "I've said that before, there is something wrong in yandi. There's a chance that he'll trigger the unexpected, if he's pushed past the limit when he faces gemajena" . The letter goes on to say that he can sense the presence of the ghosts before they get too close to each other, and that's why he has decided to entrust his safety to the ghost. The ghost replies that he will do his best for yandi, and the two of them will die together.
