The Governess is getting ready to go back to work when she realizes that she has sprained her ankle. She asks the Governess if she can talk to him about pearl spring. She says that she will try to resolve the situation as soon as she can. She tells him that since they are engaged, maybe they should get married. She thinks that Coriolanus is proposing to her, but she doesn't know how to respond to that.
