Rina and her friend Fuyuhina go for a walk and Rina asks her why she wants to do martial arts. She says that when she was young, she wasn't strong enough to do so. Now, she says, she wants more physical training so that she can stay strong and healthy. She sings a folk song for Rina, and she says that she feels her heart purified by her beautiful voice. Rina tells her that he is the son of Rina's father, and that she should know who his mother is. He says that he has never cared who her mother was, but now that he knows, he wants to know who her father is. She tells him that Rina has always been "ambiguous" about his identity, but that there are "loving and loyal couples" like her parents. She doesn't know why Rina didn't say anything when he kissed her, but she does know that she has kissed her parents and her little brother.
