Back at the beginning of the second half of the game, we find out that aoba is still playing basketball with his old team mates. They're all booing at him because he's still playing with his new team, and they're trying to get him to play with them again. He's not going to let them do it, he tells them, and he doesn't want to be a part of the team that's going to lose. He tells them to go out and play some basketball, and then he'll sit back and watch them play. They cheer for him and cheer for the other team, but they don't cheer for their own team, which is going to win the game. They start to boo again, but this time it's because they've been playing the game so hard that they haven't had time to recover from their losses. They all start to get nervous, and the girls come out to cheer them on.
