The narrator is woken up by the sound of a cat's meow. It's a member of the Hiroshi family, who's complaining about not being able to play in the basket ball game. Hiroshi tells the narrator that he's right, because the team doesn't want him to hear about his problems with the listening house. He also tells him that the game is two days away. The narrator thanks him for listening to him, and then he asks why Hiroshi is missing practice. He says that Hiroshi's missing the game because he wants to play with his team mates. The team is behind by 10 points, and Hiroshi says that's because the guards are keeping the team from scoring.
