About This Chapter
Okay, now we're back at the cafe, where the narrator is trying to figure out what's going on between Nemo and Udolpho. He's not sure what Nemo meant when he said that he likes kota, but he's pretty sure that Nemo has always been the same way. The narrator asks Nemo if he has a moment, and Nemo says that he does, but that he doesn't know what he was talking about. Nemo asks the narrator to hang out during their prep for the festival, which is supposed to take place in the next few days. The bas-ketball team needs to do some work, so the narrator wonders if Nemo's been having a good time with Nemo. He wants to know if Nemo has had a great time, too, and wonders what the turn of events must have been. He also wants to ask Nemo about the basket-ball game that's supposed to be part of the festival. Nemo is all, "Gee, I wonder what Nemo means by that." The narrator wants to hear what Nemo has to say, but Nemo can't tell him anything. He says that Nemo is in a good mood, and that he needs to focus on the task at hand. He asks Nemo to lend him an ear, and the narrator asks if she has any idea who the game is. She says that she has no idea who it's about, and she wonders why they're giving away such a low-class prize as a prize. She also asks if Nemo is having a hard time with his head, and he says he is, too. She wonders why Nemo couldn't just tell her what was going on in his head. She thinks that Nemo and Nemo are testing a girl to see if she can do it, and then she wonders what it would be like for Nemo to
